Antron® Carpet Fiber Designed to Perform Award
The all-new Antron® Carpet Fiber Designed to Perform Award recognizes commercial interiors that feature Antron® carpet fiber and are designed with long-term performance in mind. The deadline for entries is Thursday, September 10, 2009.

Since 1983, the Antron® Carpet Fiber Design Award has recognized new standards of creativity in commercial interior design through the innovative use of carpet. The Grand Prize of the 23rd Antron® Carpet Fiber Design Award competition was presented to Cohos Evamy integratedesign™ for innovative use of carpet in the design of the PCL Centennial Learning Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Designers chose Atlas Carpet Mills' "Perspective," featuring Antron® Legacy nylon, for its strong sculptural pattern which complements the vertical and horizontal elements of the design.

Antron® Carpet Fiber Sustainable Flooring Performance Award Winners
INVISTA also announces the 5th Antron® Carpet Fiber Sustainable Flooring Performance Award, which recognizes sustainable practices through the use of performance-driven flooring choices in commercial applications. The deadline for entries is Thursday, September 10, 2009.

The Grand Prize of the 4th Antron® Carpet Fiber Sustainable Flooring Performance Award goes to Ephrata Middle School in Ephrata, Washington. The award recognizes sustainable interior practices through the use of performance driven carpet choices. Ephrata Middle School features C&A Guardian I carpet that has been on the floor for since 1984, making the carpet 24 years old and counting.

Antron® Carpet Fiber Product Innovation Award Winners
Now in its 8th year, the Antron® Carpet Fiber Product Innovation Award is given to unique carpet styles that excel in aesthetics, color and usage in the marketplace. Judges awarded Atlas Carpet Mills the Broadloom Gold for "Avant Garde Collection" and Shaw Contract Group the Modular Gold for "Silk".
