Carpet Texture
Texture is a major aesthetic contributor when considering the overall look and performance of finished carpet. For example, a cut pile carpet is very plush while a loop pile can offer a variety of textural options. Carpet texture can also impact color. The same fiber can appear slightly darker in a cut pile carpet than if the same fiber were constructed in a level loop. Today, there are several pile textures available: |
